After flooding devastated families near Hunt, HYM students, leaders, and volunteers showed up for cleanup, supply support, meals, prayer, and practical care.

Compassion became physical work.
Heritage Youth Missions mobilized quickly after the flood, working alongside local churches and recovery partners to help neighbors facing loss.
Teams removed debris, helped clean homes, distributed supplies, served meals, prayed with families, and stayed useful while the longer work of recovery continued.
This is the kind of formation HYM exists for: young people learning that faithful service can look like a shovel, a shared meal, a listening ear, and the willingness to carry someone else’s burden.
